Pilobolus Program

Pilobolus is turning fifty! The remarkable company that secured an iconic place in American culture in the early 1970s is still wowing audiences with its irresistible mix of wit, sensuality, and stunning physicality. For this 50th anniversary celebration, Pilobolus turns its traditions sideways and brings its past into the future in a thoroughly engaging new way. As fresh and vibrant as ever, Pilobolus puts the 'Oh! in BIG FIVE-OH!, and continues to thrill its way into audiences' hearts and minds. The evening features a mix of works from the vintage and visionary to the recent and electrifying, including the high-voltage Megawatt (2004), the moving meditation Shizen (1978), the comedic masterpiece Solo from the Empty Suitor (1980), the innovative Shadow piece (2007), and the athletic feats of Day 2 (1980).
