With its burnished warmth, incisive rhythms, and natural phrasing, the Dover Quartet’s distinctive sound has helped confirm its status as “the young American string quartet of the moment” (The New Yorker).

Renowned pianist Peter Serkin will join Dover Quartet for this unforgettable night of music. Recognized as an artist of passion and integrity, Serkin is one of the most thoughtful solo and collaborative musicians performing today. The evening’s program will include Quartet in G Major, D. 887 by Franz Schubert and Piano Quintet in F Minor, Op. 34 by Johannes Brahms.

Arrive early for a pre-performance discussion with members of the Dover Quartet, led by WCVE Music Classical host Mike Goldberg at 6:30 PM.
