Dorrance Dance

February 02, 2018, 7:30 PM
Alice Jepson Theatre, Modlin Center for the Arts

Founded in 2011 by MacArthur “Genius” Fellow and artistic director Michelle Dorrance, Dorrance Dance aims to honor tap dance’s uniquely beautiful history in a new and dynamically compelling context––not by stripping the form of its tradition, but by pushing it rhythmically, energetically, aesthetically and conceptually.  This Bessie-winning company returns to the Modlin Arts series with three new works: Jungle Blues, Myelination, and Three to One.
