Gil Shaham is one of the foremost violinists of our time; his flawless technique combined with his warmth and generous spirit has solidified him as an American master. The Grammy®-winner, also named Musical America’s “Instrumentalist of the Year,” performs regularly as a recitalist and with the greatest orchestras and ensembles across the globe.

Since making his highly acclaimed New York recital debut at Alice Tully Hall in 1992, Eguchi has performed in the foremost music centers across the United States, Europe, and Asia. His appearances in the United States include Carnegie Hall, Avery Fisher Hall, Alice Tully Hall, and the 92nd Street Y in New York City, and the Kennedy Center in Washington D.C. The evening’s program includes Kreisler’s Praeludium and Allegro; Prokofiev’s 5 Melodies, Op. 3; Franck’s, Sonata in A Major for Violin and Piano; Bach’s Partita No. 3 in E Major for Solo Violin; Saint-Saens’ Introduction and Rondo Capriccioso; and Dorman’s Nigunim.
