As one of the world’s most acclaimed composers, Maria Schneider’s music has been hailed by critics as “evocative, majestic, magical, heart-stoppingly gorgeous, and beyond categorization.” Schneider and her orchestra have a distinguished recording career with ten Grammy® nominations and five Grammy® awards that span multiple genres including jazz, classical, and a collaboration with David Bowie.

Join WCVE Jazz host Peter Solomon at 6:30pm for a free pre-concert discussion with bandleader and composer Maria Schneider. The talk will take place in Booth Lobby in the Modlin Center. Seating is limited and available on a first-arrival basis.
