Become a Modlin Center member and be part of one of the region’s top performing arts centers. Your support is vital in our mission to present diverse and vibrant arts experiences that inspire, engage, and enrich the community on and off the University of Richmond campus. 


  • The Modlin Center School Series, which provides yearly programming to school children at a free or reduced cost to schools.
  • Opportunities to learn from artists through pre-concert Artist Voices discussions, post-show question-and-answer sessions, master classes, workshops, and additional free, interactive opportunities with artists.
  • Commissioning of new works. 
  • Opportunities for the community to gather and network during pre- and post-show receptions.

To become a Modlin Center Member, please review the categories and benefits below and select the membership level that is right for you. You tax-deductible contributions can be made online, by calling the Modlin Center box office at (804) 289-8980, or by mailing your contribution to: Modlin Center for the Arts, 453 Westhampton Way, University of Richmond, VA 23173.

$100-$249 (total amount tax deductible)

  • Advance notice of new events
  • Name listed in the playbill for the 20-21 season (donation must be made by August 1, 2020)

$250-$499 (total amount tax deductible)
All of the above plus:

  • Priority ticket processing of up to four tickets per show*
  • Advance ticket sales for events added throughout the season

$500-$999 (total amount tax deductible less $160)
All of the above plus

  • Priority ticket processing of up to six tickets per show*
  • Free ticket exchange
  • Invitation to member exclusive reception prior to select performances (to be announced)
  • Autographed commemorative posters for up to two performances

$1,000-$2,499 (total amount tax deductible less $221)
All of the above plus

  • Advance mailing of the season brochure to allow for special seating preferences
  • Four drink vouchers to Corner Booth Concessions
  • Waived ticket processing fees for up to ten events 

$2,500-$4,999 (total amount tax deductible less $315)
All of the above plus

  • Ten drink vouchers to Corner Booth Concessions
  • Two complementary ticket vouchers
  • Personal backstage tour available in September, December, or May

$5,000 (total amount tax deductible less $408.10)
All of the above plus

  • Credit in printed program for co-sponsorship of one Modlin Center presenting artist event
  • Dinner with Executive Director at Azzurro Restaurant near campus

$10,000 + (total amount tax deductible less $658.10)

  • Commissioning opportunities available
  • One-time waived rental fee for a reception in Booth Lobby**

*Priority ticket processing applies to Modlin Center events only and does not apply to other University of Richmond or outside rental client events that take place a the center.
