We are excited to welcome you to our 2024-2025 season! Series package sales will begin the first week of July 2024. Single-event tickets go on sale to the public August 1st, 2024.

Regular hours are Monday through Friday from 1 PM to 5 PM. Modlin's Box Office opens 60 minutes before ticketed performances. Tickets can be purchased online, by phone at 804-289-8980, or in person. Questions? Email us at modlinarts@richmond.edu.

BECOME A SERIES PATRON AND SAVE The shows in a Modlin Series are entirely up to you! Create Your Own Series with three to six on-campus performances to receive a 15% discount on adult tickets. Choose seven or more on-campus shows for a Patron of the Arts Series and receive a 25% discount on adult tickets. Series patrons enjoy priority access to tickets (including pre-sale access to events at the Carpenter Theatre), and the option for flexible no-fee* exchanges (See series patron exchange terms below, under TICKET POLICY).

Zone 1 = Forward center orchestra plus outer aisles + front/center balcony
Zone 2 = Outer center orchestra plus rear orchestra and middle balcony

Youth/Non-UR Student $10 - Requires a valid student ID or visual verification for each ticket. Available for Hold at Box Office only. Minors must be accompanied.


UR Credited Student* FREE (limit 1 per event) - Requires valid UR ID. *All fees waived.

UR Faculty & Staff* $20 per ticket, any zone (limit 2 per event). *No ticket fees. Valid UR ID is required.

Osher members* 10% off, available in all zones (limit 1 per event). *No ticket fees. Valid UR ID is required.

Senior (age 65+) 10% off single-event tickets. No other discounts can be applied.

Groups of 10+ Ready to start a Group ticket purchase? Email our Box Office at modlinarts@richmond.edu.

K-12 Student Groups of 10+ will receive a $2 discount on Youth tickets, and 1 free chaperone ticket per every 10 students (applicable to youth under 18). Ticket fees apply.

Adult Groups of 10+ will receive a 20% discount on all tickets. Ticket fees apply.

Shows at the Carpenter Theatre are subject to Dominion Energy Center's ticketing terms and fees.


For all ticketed events, Modlin Center offers ticket delivery as Hold at Box Office or Mobile Tickets.
Please choose how you'd like your tickets delivered. When purchasing tickets that require an ID to be shown, tickets will only be available for in-person pickup at the Box Office.

All sales are final. No refunds are available, except in the event of a cancellation.

All Single-Event ticket purchases are final. No refunds are available. Single-event patrons who are unable to attend an event are asked to contact the box office no later than 5 pm two business days before their event. With required minimum notice, tickets may be exchanged for other shows within the same season. If the new tickets cost more, the balance is due at the time of exchange, and the exchange fee of $5/ticket will apply. Single-Event patrons contacting the box office with less than 2 business days’ notice may transfer tickets to a friend or family member.

Create Your Own (3-6) Series and Patron of the Arts (7+) Series patrons can enjoy the benefit of flexible ticketing, with an option* for no-fee ticket exchanges. Series patrons who are unable to attend an event are asked to contact the Box Office no later than 5 pm one business day before their event. Any series tickets that cannot be used can also be transferred to a friend or family member.
*Exchanges are offered as ticket(s) to another show within the same season or may be held as account credits. On-account funds expire June 30, at the end of the fiscal year in which the credit is issued.

Ticket Donations: Tickets that cannot be used, or transferred to friends of family, may be returned to the Box Office to be donated for resale. No credit will be issued.

Tickets Required: All ticketed performances require every patron to have a ticket. This includes children, regardless of age. Children are welcome and must always be accompanied by an adult. Parental discretion is advised as some performances may not be suitable for young children.

PROGRAMS ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE Events can change, sometimes without notice. In the event of a cancellation or date change, we will announce as early as possible, and attempts will be made to contact all ticket holders in advance of the performance. Help us keep you informed by ensuring your contact information is up to date.

NOTICE REGARDING THIRD PARTY TICKETS Modlin.richmond.edu is the only authorized and official website for purchasing tickets to concerts at Modlin Center for the Arts at the University of Richmond. Tickets purchased from any other website or third-party vendor may be counterfeit, and these seats cannot be guaranteed. Tickets purchased from sources other than modlin.richmond.edu are not eligible for an exchange or reprint, and cannot be transferred to a new patron's name.
