Modlin Center for the Arts
As the hub for artistic expression on campus, the Modlin Center for the Arts is home to the academic departments in Art and Art History, Music, Theatre and Dance and two arts organizations: Modlin Arts Presents and University Museums.
MODLIN ARTS PRESENTS
Get up close and personal with performing artists from around the world. Engage with the arts to spark new conversations, explore ideas, and enrich your university experience. While on campus for Modlin Arts Presents, visiting artists often participate in workshops, master classes, lectures, Q&As, and demonstrations with students and our community. University of Richmond students can take advantage of FREE tickets for Modlin Presents concerts and performances.
MODLIN ARTS STUDENT AMBASSADORS
The Modlin Arts Student Ambassadors (MASA) is a student-led collective that builds connections between the Modlin Center for the Arts and the UR community to promote a culture of art throughout the campus. Students are responsible for developing programs, planning student engagement events, and initiating collaborative projects that promote the arts across campus. Recent programs produced by MASA include:
• Tiny Dorm Concert Series
• Open Mic Night
• Student Artist Spotlight
• MASA Meet Up
We’re currently hiring for fall 2024. Students of all disciplines and majors are encouraged to apply. Apply here: https://bit.ly/ModlinMASAS
