Anthony McGill is the principal clarinetist of the New York Philharmonic, an advocate for diversity, equity, and inclusion in classical music, and renowned for what The New York Times calls his “trademark brilliance, penetrating sound, and rich character.” Meanwhile, the Boston Globe, in naming her a Superior Pianist of the Year, notes succinctly that Gloria Chien “appears to excel in everything.” The music they make together is spectacular, whether standard repertoire or new work, sparkles with virtuosity and verve.
