China National Symphony, Lunar New Year's Celebration

The Lunar New Year performance by the China National Symphony Orchestra with artistic director and conductor Tan Dun and special guests Sandy Cameron, violin and Liu Wenwen, suona, presented by Modlin Arts at the Carpenter Theatre, Dominion Arts Center, has been canceled. Refunds will be given at the point of purchase automatically and without additional action by ticket holders. 

Citing security concerns for their more than 100 musicians following the tragedy at the Route 91 festival in Las Vegas, NV, the China National Symphony Orchestra has decided to cancel all performances on their North American tour. The China National Symphony Orchestra apologizes for any inconvenience regarding their cancelation.

The Modlin Center for the Arts endeavors to provide a comfortable and safe environment for our patrons and artists including in venues that are not within the Modlin Center complex.
