Learn to play Balinese music on Çudamani's own magnificent Gamelan Semarandana (7 tone) and perhaps even strike the great bronze gong. No experience necessary to enjoy. Dress comfortably for floor seating. Observers also welcome.
Traditional Balinese music, known as gamelan, utilizes percussive instruments and emphasizes quick, interlocking patterns. The bright, percussive sounds of gamelan orchestras reverberate throughout the island of Bali to accompany religious ceremonies.

Come early for an Indonesian Cultural Fair starting at 6:00pm on Westhampton Green with demonstrations by Gamelan Cudamani, information booths, swag, and Indonesian snacks and coffee provided by the Embassy of the Republic of Indonesia and Office of International Education.
