L.A. Theatre Works celebrates the 200th anniversary of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice with their radio production of this quintessential romantic comedy. Pride and Prejudice tells the sparkling tale of the Bennets – a family blessed with five daughters and a mother desperate to marry them off. The tempestuous pairing of the witty, independent Elizabeth, and the arrogant but honorable Mr. Darcy sets the standard for all great couples of the stage and screen.
Broadcast on NPR stations, streamed online at latw.org, and aired internationally on BBC, CBC, and many other English language networks, radio theatre company L.A. Theatre Works brings the finest recorded dramatic literature into the homes of millions.
