John Pizzarelli Swing 7

Swing Band Holiday Concert
Thursday, December 5, 2013 at 7:30 p.m.
Camp Concert Hall, Booker Hall of Music

World-renowned jazz guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli was called “madly creative” by the Los Angeles Times, and “the genial genius of the guitar” by The Toronto Star. Internationally known for his interpretations of performers like Nat “King” Cole, Frank Sinatra, and Joao Gilberto; the songs of composers from Richard Rodgers and George Gershwin; to James Taylor, Antonio Carlos Jobim, and Lennon & McCartney, John Pizzarelli has established himself as one of the prime interpreters of the Great American Songbook and beyond, bringing to his work the cool jazz flavor of his brilliant guitar-playing and singing.

Please join the Modlin Center for the Arts as we celebrate the holidays with a post-show reception in the Booth Lobby.

Sponsored in part by the H. G. Quigg Endowment.
