“It feels so easy, looks so casual. But it sounds unlike anything.” – Philly.com

Roomful of Teeth is a Grammy® Award-winning vocal project dedicated to mining the expressive potential of the human voice. Through study with masters from singing traditions the world over, the octet continually expands its vocabulary of singing techniques and, by commissioning and creating new works, forges a repertoire without borders.

Roomful of Teeth will be joined by the University of Richmond Schola Cantorum, a mixed choir of talented students that has performed in Spain, Italy, France, Slovenia, Croatia, Slovakia, the Czech Republic, and Hungary.

The evening’s performance will include works by Merrill Garbus’ Quizassa, Eric Dudley’s Suonare, and Pulitzer Prize-winning vocalist and composer Caroline Shaw’s Partita for 8 Voices.

CONCESSION SALES: Concessions will be sold in the Booth Lobby from 6:00 - 7:30 PM.
