“Once upon a time there were four little rabbits, and their names were – Flopsy, Mopsy, Cotton-tail and Peter…” In celebration of Beatrix Potter’s 150th birthday anniversary, Enchantment Theatre brings her beloved tales to life with fantastic masks, whimsical puppets, gorgeous scenery, and original music. Peter Rabbit and his cousin Benjamin Bunny escape from Mr. McGregor, outfox Mr. Tod, and rescue the Flopsy Bunnies from the grumpy old badger, Tommy Brock. Join them and their friends, Squirrel Nutkin, Mrs. Tiggy-Winkle, and Jemima Puddleduck, as the magical, marvelous world of Beatrix Potter comes to life on stage.

Curriculum Connections: literature, reading, friendship, visual arts and drawing, theater, music, imagination, and problem solving

An Educational Lobby Display will highlight the many ways Ms. Potter was a person ahead of her time as author, illustrator, natural scientist, conservationist, businesswoman, philanthropist, and emancipated woman.
