Curricular Connections to the Arts is a resource designed for faculty to encourage connections between academic courses at University of Richmond and arts events at the Modlin Center for the Arts. We invite you to explore Curricular Connections as a creative resource to supplement classroom discussions and to use the arts to convey your course themes.
For other ways in which you might incorporate the arts into your classroom, please reference the comprehensive calendar of Modlin Center for the Arts programs.
We plan numerous artist residency activities that extend beyond the presentation of a performance to give students the opportunity to have a more direct, informal experience with visiting artists. Contact us if you would like to schedule your class to participate in one of these educational activities or to inquire about inviting an artist into your classroom.
If you are interested in holding a block of tickets for purchase by the students in your class, email the Modlin Center box office to make arrangements. Class tickets are $7 for students and each faculty member requiring the performance will receive two complimentary tickets.
The Modlin Center box office serves as the centralized box office for performing arts programs and events at the University of Richmond. UR employees receive a 15 percent discount on tickets. Tickets for UR students are $10 and $5 respecetively for Modlin Arts and Department of Theatre performances, unless it is a designated free for UR student event. The Department of Music Concert Series is free.
10 am - 5 pm, Monday - Friday
The Box Office opens 90 minutes before shows. Hours vary during university holidays and during summer.
