Third Practice celebrates its ninth year of bringing new electroacoustic music and experimental video to Richmond audiences. Third Practice is dedicated to commissioning and presenting cutting-edge work for computers, acoustic instruments, video projection, and surround sound.
This year's festival will feature concerts by ensemble-in-residence eighth blackbird and internationally renowned clarinetist Arthur Campbell. Third Practice will also present works for solo instruments and computer, video, sound art and other works by composers from around the United States and Europe.
