What happens when the lights go out? In this long one act, an unscrupulous sculptor has embellished his apartment with furniture and objects which he "borrowed" from his antique collecting neighbor living next door. By doing this, Brindsley hopes that he will finally impress the father of his fiancee...until it all goes wrong.
The eccentric neighbor returns just as Brindsley causes a fuse to blow, plunging the apartment into darkness. Unexpected guests and poorly positioned furniture impede Brindsley's frantic attempts to return all of the stolen furniture before his neighbor notices, and leads to a hilarious series of events, all taking place in the dark.
Running time: approximately 1 hour and fifteen minutes
